How Does It Work?
Your Certified SmoothGlo Provider will utilize two state-of-the-art technologies sequentially to target multiple skin layers and address the visible signs of aging.
- Lumenis IPL delivers intense pulses of therapeutic light to destroy unsightly pigment and blood-filled capillaries. The patented controlled pulsing technology minimizes your discomfort and maximizes your safety.
- VoluDerm™ RF microneedling creates micro-wounds in your skin to promote a natural healing process that leads to regeneration of elastin, collagen, and natural hyaluronic acid.
Treatments take about thirty minutes and the end result is a younger looking you.
When will I see results?
Many patients report visible improvements right away. For the best and longest lasting results, complete a series of SmoothGlo treatments spaced three to four weeks apart. Your Jupiter Derm expert will work with you to create a comprehensive treatment plan.
What can I expect after treatment?
Immediately after being SmoothGlo’d, you can return to your daily activities.
You may experience some redness or swelling. This can last between a couple of hours to a few days. Additionally, you may see and feel minor scabbing. Don’t worry, it will naturally heal and shed off.
After treatment, stay out of direct sunlight for a few weeks and apply sunscreen regularly. Most importantly, follow all of your provider’s post-care instructions.
